I'm Heuer H. Javier, 14 yrs. old, 2nd year high and... i'm very ENERGETIC!!!(well, most of the times...) i like the color red, because it signifies valor, passion and courage. i love to surf the net(and yet... i dont hav a cellphone), write stories, draw, sing, anime and... well... write.... anyways, i love music(not the subject, but i dont hate it either)especially punk rock, hiphop and a few mellow(mostly T. Swift), i like to read the "sherlock holmes" series. OH! and i almost forgot, i celebrate my birthdays every june 10. my motto is: "never give up!!!" or "i dont care!!!" hehe...(END)

High Crest Gaiden: Chapter 3: Ox

Heuer: I didn’t notice those markings this morning.

We examined the markings across my right arm.

Michael: Is that what you call naïve?
Yamato: Hmmm… These markings are all ancient texts, very hard to decode… Come to Section-Q tonight and I’ll try to decode it.
Heuer: Okay!
Einjel: So… What are we going to do with this Kurohane?
Ox: Hrrraaah!!! Come here and face me you cowards!
Yamato: You take care of it. I have to go back to base and report this.
Heuer: Okay! I’m really pumped!
Yamato: Hmph. You’re still bugs.
Heuer: You really want to meet my fist don’t you?!

I was going to kick Yamato’s butt, but Michael pulled me back…

Michael: Calm down now…
Yamato: *chuckles*… Allo Camara! (Different chamber.)

Then Yamato teleported back to the base and the dome that enveloped us disappeared…

Heuer: Hehe… Get ready!

The three of us drew our weapon, Michael’s weapon was a Photon Katana, a laser katana that grows more powerful when the sun is shining brightly, Einjel’s weapon was a KuroCera, it’s a pair of metal gloves with sharp spikes on the knuckles, and mine was Summon cards, these cards are used to summon various items like weapons or armor, I can also use it to summon beasts. Unfortunately, I just became an Acrolopho so I only have three cards. A “Double-edged” card, a “Round” card and an “Aero” card.

Heuer: Gladius: Double-edged sword!

Then the “Double-edged” card turned into a Double-edged sword…

Ox: Now… I can finally destroy you!
Michael: Not going to happen.
Einjel: Ha! Veloci Pyro Cera! (Swift fire horn.)

Einjel’s gloves started to burst in flames then he swiftly punched Ox with all his might.

Ox: AAARGH!!!

SMASH!

Ox was sent flying to a building which was destroyed…

Einjel: Hmph. He was too soft…
Ox: That was powerful…

Ox rapidly rammed Einjel…

Ox: …But not powerful enough!
Einjel: Aaagh!
Michael: Einjel!
Heuer: Shit! Morning Kurohane’s much more powerful than a common one!
Michael: Photon Blast! (Light blast.)

The Photon Katana gathered the suns energy then produced a powerful, concentrated blast of the gathered energy.

Ox: Hmph! Not fast enough!

Ox dodged the blast and attacked Michael…

Michael: Ugh…
Heuer: He’s too fast! (I should use an aero-type card.)
Ox: Now, for the weakest one.
Heuer: Weak?! Hrrr! Element: Aero!

My Double-edged sword was amalgamated with the Aero element…

Heuer: I’m not weak! Aero Tape Gladius! (Wind ancient sword.)

SWOOSH!

Wind starts to circulate around my sword which made it lighter and it made me move faster too.

Einjel: I never knew that you can combine Summon cards.
Ox: He’s too fast!
Heuer: I maybe a low-rank Acrolopho. But when you hurt my friends…
Ox: Where is he?
Michael: He’s too fast, Ox can’t see him.
Heuer: … There’s no way I can lose! Ha!

I slashed Ox with my sword…

Ox: AAARGH!
Heuer: Now, guys! Attack him while he’s off-guard.
Michel: Okay! Photon blast!
Einjel: Veloci Pyro Cera!

Einjel and Michael attacked Ox with all their might…

Ox: AAARGH!!!

Ox was disintegrated because of that devastating attack.

Heuer: You did it!
Einjel: Well… You did most of the work.
Michael: Yeah.
Heuer: Just lucky. Hehe!
Michael: How did you combine Summon cards like that?
Heuer: I have no idea. I just followed my instincts and that happened.
Einjel: Hmmm… Why do I fell like we forgot something?
Heuer: I don’t remember anything.
Einjel: Let’s just go home.
Michael: Good idea. That battle was really tiring.

Meanwhile in a base somewhere…

Yamato: That bug, Heuer, he’s stronger than he looks.
???: *chuckles* You shouldn’t judge a person on how he looks like.
Yamato: You may be right.
???: …

High Crest Gaiden: Chapter 2: The Tablet of Miracles.

???: You still don't know the reason?
Heuer: Yamato? What are you doing here?
Yamato: I should ask you that question. Aren't you three part of the Luna Brigade?

That's Yamato, sixteen years old, a higher ranking Acrolopho that seems to dislike me. And I forgot to mention earlier that Acrolopho's are divided into five ranks: "Luna brigade", that's the rank where I belong, it's the lowest possible rank, Luna brigade's are only active during the night because of unknown reasons , this is my rank because I just became an Acrolopho three weeks ago. The fourth is "Pelta Division", this rank is primarily meant for defensive strategies, and they're active twenty-four hours seven days a week. The third is "Front Gladius", they are only active if there is a Kurohane wreaking havoc, Einjel (Fifteen years old) and Michael (Fourteen years old) are part of this rank. The second is "Callidus Scholars", they are the one's that makes strategies during a battle or war, most Callidus' are mages, and Yamato's a part of this rank. The Highest rank is the "Rector Ultima", also known as the DuesRex's, they are the supreme Acrolopho's, leader of all, only five DuesRex's said to live but only one is known. His name is Tai Ryuhi.

Michael: NO!
Einjel: Yeah! Michael and I are part of the Front Gladius.
Yamato: Hmph! As if I care. You three are still bugs compared to me.
Heuer: HRRRR! Why don’t you come here and tell that to my fist!

I tried to beat up Yamato, but Michael pulled me back…

Michael: Calm down now…
Ox: Hraaaaah!

Ox charged at as but…

Yamato: Giga Pelta!

… Yamato used a spell to envelop us in a dome that blocked Ox’s attack.

Ox: Hraaaah!

Ox continued to ram the dome but it seemed to be impenetrable…

Heuer: So what is that Kurohane doing out here during the day? And why is he after me?!
Yamato: *sign* (These three are clueless.) Nine hours ago, Kurohane’s that are not afraid of the sun started appearing around the world, and all of them are searching for the same person.
Heuer: …
Yamato: And that person is you, Heuer.
Heuer: Huh?! B-but why?
Yamato: Your files say that last night you were assigned to team seven and got sent to Europe, to retrieve the lost Tablet of Miracles.
Heuer: Yeah. That mission was a piece of cake.
Einjel: Piece of cake? You went home last night covered in bandages and you were full of scars.
Heuer: Hehe… Right.
Yamato: Yes, you did succeed, but when we finally examined the tablet, we only found an inscription that says: “The first one to touch this undying tablet shall obtain the knowledge this tablet holds, the knowledge that could either destroy or make miracles.”
Heuer: So?
Yamato: So, were you the one that first got a hold of that tablet?
Heuer: Hmmm…

*flashback*

In a ruin located in an unknown forest in Europe…

Heuer: Are we there yet?
Man: Almost, but we need to climb down this pit.
Heuer: Then what are we waiting for?
Woman: We still don’t know how far down this pit goes.
Heuer: So… What now?
Man: Hmmm…
Heuer: This pit sure looks like it goes on forever…
Woman: Don’t go too close, you might…
Heuer: AAAAAAHHH!!!

Obviously (Because of my clumsiness.) I fell down…

Woman: … Fall…

Heuer: AAAHHH!!!-

-THUMP!

Woman: Hey! Are you still alive?
Heuer: *coughs* Aw… I-I’m okay… Hey, there’s a path here that seems to lead somewhere. I’m going to check it out…
Woman: Our scanners say that there are no living organisms down there. So it’s safe to go on alone, BUT! You should still be careful.
Heuer: Don’t worry, careful is my middle name.

THUMP!

I tripped over a small rock (Of course, because of my clumsiness.).

Heuer: I’m okay!
Man:*sign*…
Woman: Go back to the camp and grab some extra ropes.
Man: Okay.

I continued to walk on that dark path and as I went on, I noticed a dim light that was glinting from afar, as I get closer; I stumbled upon a room full of cobwebs and terrifying insects.

Heuer: What's that?

I saw a tablet shining in the middle of that room...

???: Heuer...
Heuer: Huh?
???: Heuer...

I grabbed the tablet and I don't know why...

*end of flashback*

Heuer: That's all I can remember... After that I suddenly just whited out... My team members found me lying on the ground.
Yamato: I see... Give me your right hand.
Heuer: Okay...

I lift my hand and we found ancient markings all across my right arm...

Heuer: Whoa! I never noticed those markings before.
Yamato: Just as I thought...

Chapter 1: A beginning...

One hot day in L.P.C....

Heuer: (yawn) I hate school days...
Einjel: Who doesn't?
Michael: Cheer up. There's only three more hours 'till dismissal.
Heuer: Three hours are like three years... (Sign)

That's me, Heuer, a second year student. Normal during the day but when the darkness of the night strikes, I become one of the elite warriors called: “Acrolopho”, we protect the world from destruction beasts called: "Kurohane’s". Einjel and Michael are Acrolopho’s too and both of them are my friends

BOOM!

Heuer: What was that!?
Einjel: Shit! It's a Kurohane.
Michael: What!? They never appear during the day.
Heuer: Enough talk! Let's beat the crap out of this Kurohane!
Sir: Hey! Where are you three going?
Heuer: Sir! I need to go to the restroom.
Einjel: Me too.
Michael: Count me in!
Sir: All at the same time?
Heuer: We can’t stop it!
Sir: Okay, okay. Just be quick.
Heuer: Thank you sir. (HAHA! Sucker!)
Sir: (sign) Kids these days…

We went to the place where the Kurohane was wreaking havoc… Its size was nearly one hundred feet tall, it looked like an ox with gigantic horns that stood at the top of its head.

Heuer: That’s one big Kurohane…
Einjel: Who are you? And why are you here?
Ox: ROAR! I am Ox and I am here to destroy Heuer!
Heuer: When did I become famous?
Einjel: What are you doing here when the sun is still high up?
Ox: That is none of your business! Hrraaaaaah!

Ox charged at us but we managed to dodge his attack…

???: You guys are really pathetic.
Heuer: Huh?
???: Hmph!
